Simply in love with \u2026<\/em>The \nterm \u201csimp\u201d in this work comes from \u201csimp\/\nsimping\u201d used in the VTuber culture to \ndescribe the relationship of the fans and \naudience with the VTubers, streamers, and live \nstreamers, satirizing the over-commitment \nof emotions, money, and real life from fans \nof the extreme level behind the screens. This \nwork uses the concept of \u201csimp relationship\u201d \nformed between the viewers and the virtual \nimages. This creation is a reflection of the \nparticular relationship and linkage of people \nwith the digital interface and virtual images, \nas well as the absolute objective existential \nstate of the virtual images being the projected \nand reflected desire.

Social Media\u3001Dreamcore\u3001AI generators(writing\u3001image)\u3001LSD simulator

The work is derived from the dreamcore images in social media, which are characterized by anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal tendencies. Using the LSD-Dream Emulator scene as the basis of creation and the dreamcore images as the concept of presentation, the images are filled with a large number of depressing and strange architectural spaces, with mysterious, misanthropic, or fearful feelings, and are paired with vague textual content often used in the AI algorithm of the dreamcore to compile texts and stories, which are meant to discuss the emotions and moods that are formed by the contemporary human beings on the internet in the relationships with the algorithms, the social media platforms, and the images on the internet.

The project combines virtual imagery and physical installations, online performances, and VRChat nightclub to express internal and external bodily and spiritual experiences. The artist explores the layered 3D model characters to the shellbody, depicting scenes of desire like cyber love and avatar sex. The work presents a fluid and mobile cyberqueer and sensory body in space. The work aims to use haptic visuality and visual glitches in a digital game to evoke a physical relationship with the viewers, offering various possibilities of future erotic imagination and dreamscapes.
