Introduction : Sculpture is always in my minds

This is the starting point of a journey to explore the definition of sculpture in perception, which is inspired by some thoughts about sculpture that keep recurring in the mind: as long as there is sculpture in the mind, sculpture is there; sculpture is infinite, it is a non-monotonous system, a series of manipulations of perception; sculpture is a perceptual block.
The work is a perceptual exploration composed of a loose narrative formed by questions and explanations about the sculpture and texture tracing in different technical images. With the layout of complex sculptural object elements and various images and virtual interfaces, the work creates a field that tends to dematerialize the entrance of reading the sculpture and entering the perceptual block of the sculpture.

這是一趟探尋認知中的雕塑定義的旅程起點，啟發於一些不斷反覆出現於腦海中關於雕塑的思索：只要心裡有雕塑，雕塑就在那，雕塑是無限的，是非單一的系統，是一系列對感知的操作，雕塑是感知團塊。
作品中以關於雕塑提問與闡述形成的散狀敘事和不同的技術影像中的紋理追尋構成的感知探索，並藉複雜的雕塑物件元素與各式影像與虛擬介面的佈置，營造出一個趨向非物質化的閱讀雕塑入口的場域，進入雕塑的感知團塊之中。
